In my Line 1 photo the subject is the colored tiles. In my Line 2 photo the subject is the bricks. In my Color 1 photo the subject is a canoe. In my Color 2 photo the subject is the dandelion. In my texture 1 photo the subject is the bumpy rocks. In my texture 2 photo the subject is the rough tree bark. In my line photos i boosted up the saturation and lowered the brightness. In my color photos I boosted the color of the subject matter so it would stand out more. In my texture photos I added a little bit of brightness but toke sore saturation away. I feel my best photograph is either the one with the canoe or the one with the colored tiles, because they look the best. I found out that i can take good photos using the different angles we learned. I would probably a take more time into getting more photographs.

The subject matter is a reflective building.
Low Angle
It is a slight angle with a reflective surface allowing you to see other objects.
It is successful because the building is really reflective allowing you to see other objects when looking at it, also it makes it appealing the the human eye.

The subject it the bright purple at the end of the flower.
Extreme Close-Up
All the other colors are either black or very dark, so the only thing you really see is the bright purple at the end of the flower.
It is successful because the bright purple catches your eye and non of the other colors do.

The subject is the smooth surface of the canyon.
Close-Up.
The way the photo is taken it is looks really smooth and has a really nice color of orange.
It is successful by making you want to touch it cause it looks so smooth and nice.

Learning Shots and Angles

Extreme Close-up

The Extreme Close-up shows all the features of the lady bug and make it seem bigger and more significant.
Long Shot

The Bird's eye view makes objects look less significant because of there size.

American Photography (Part 1)

The video taught us about how photography has changed and, effected our lives. Photography started off as paintings that people drew, and there wernt any pictures in newspaper. As time went on people invented better stuff, when cameras first came out not man people owned them because they were pretty expensive. When they came out with the brownie more people started becoming photographers because they weren't as expensive. At first when people toke photographs they would either put vasaline on the lense or,  scratch the negative to add effects to the photo to make it more interesting to the human eye.
Photography changed when that one guy(forgot his name) started taking straight photographs and not messing with the negatives or the lense. This new era was called straight photography. They toke the pictures so it would look different then it actually was. Babe ruth was the first person to start advertising in photographs. He made $50,000 from baseball but millions from advertising. One thing about the video was how gruesome the photos were about the war. I dont have a question.

What Is Art?

Art can be a lot of different things it really depends on the person. It could be a picture or just a bunch of random things piled up together. Art to me isn't much, i'm not really an art person. When I look at art all I really see if a bunch of colors together on a piece of paper. Thats probley why I never did well in art class.
There is a lot of examples of art like Mona Lisa, and a lot more. I don't know much about art, because I really don't care much about art. I know that art can be consider a lot of different things it really depends on the person. I don't really want to learn anything about art but, I know that this class will help me put with computers and programs that you have to use on them.
